Settle Flowerpot Festival

Had a stroll around Settle discovering the Gruffalo, Postman Pat, Dennis the Menace, Little Miss Muffet and loads of other characters – all made of flowerpots. The annual event, now in its ninth year, was conceived by the Vibrant Settle Community Partnership, an initiative led by locals Steve Amphlett and Tony Hardwick. A record number of local residents and businesses create these great installations around the town using several thousand flowerpots.
